A short list, made heavy
We started with one garment: a tee we could not find. Heavy enough that it did not cling, cut boxy enough that it did not need to be ironed, and knit tightly enough that it still looked like itself after a year of weekly washes. It took eleven sample rounds and three knitting mills to land on 8.5 oz ring-spun jersey. That tee is still the first thing in the catalogue.
Everything since has followed the same rule. Pick the fabric first, by weight and by mill. Cut it plainly. Sew it in a room we can drive to. Wash it before it ships. Then keep making it.

Where it is made
Jersey, fleece, denim, cargos and most accessories are cut and sewn in Los Angeles, in two family-run factories within twenty minutes of each other. The wool and leather outerwear is sewn in New York by a shop that has made coats since the 1970s.
Our fabrics come from mills in the US, Japan, Scotland, Portugal and Italy. Every product page names the mill country and the weight.

We print no graphics and chase no drops. A piece earns its place by still being worth wearing next season.
What we will not do
- Print logos on the outside of a garment.
- Release a colour once to create a rush, then pretend it was planned.
- Use fabric under the weight we print on the label.
- Ship without washing the jersey and fleece first.
